10th Fascination MODELLBAHN Mannheim 2025: Set-up and dismantling information for ideal participants

Structure
The official set-up period is from Wednesday, 05.03.2025 to Thursday, 06.03.2025 from 8 am to 8 pm. There are no set-up passes at our trade shows!
To protect against theft, it is imperative that the set-up times are adhered to. We would like to ask all non-commercial participant to be present at the booth with at least one person until the end of the set-up. The halls will be cleared by security at the end of the set-up period. If there are non-commercial participant who have not yet completed the set-up at this time, an extension of the set-up time can only be permitted if a person from the security service supervises the set-up of this participant at the expense of the participants. The cost for one person of the security service is about 25,- €/hour plus. VAT
However, access to the Maimarkthalle via the two rolling gates at the rear of the hall is only permitted for unloading and loading vehicles. Driving into the Maimarkthalle is at your own risk. The side doors have a size of 1.95 x 2.10 m and cannot be passed by larger vehicles.
Driving on the Maimarkt grounds or entry deposit
Driving on the Maimarkt grounds (access via TOR 2) during set-up is possible with a valid parking permit or against payment of a deposit of € 50 per car and € 100 per truck. A trailer counts as a separate vehicle.
Parking permits are provided with a BARCODE and must be scanned on entry. If you leave by the end of the set-up period (Thursday 8pm), your deposit will be refunded. After that, the deposit is forfeited.
Opening hours of the fair
The following opening hours apply to visitors:
Friday to Sunday, 07. – March 09, 2025 from 9.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m.
Opening hours for exhibitors & participants:
Daily 1 hour before or 1 hour after opening hours for visitors
Entry to the Maimarkt grounds during the fair is only permitted upon presentation of your exhibitor pass.
Driving on the Maimarkt grounds during the fair is only possible with your exhibitor pass and a valid parking permit. For the purpose of deliveries, you may also enter the Maimarkt grounds for a total of 1 hour upon payment of a €50 deposit.
Dismantling
Dismantling will take place on Sunday, March 09, 2025 from 17:00 to 22:00, and on Monday, March 09, 2025 from 17:00 to 22:00. March 10, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. We would like to draw your attention to the fact that no dismantling of the exhibition stand is permitted on the last day of the exhibition before it closes at 5:00 p.m.
Parking during fair hours
Car - parking spaces (up to 3.4 to.)
There are a limited number of parking spaces available within the Maimark grounds (access via TOR 2) for non-commercial participant. If you require a car parking permit, please order this with the stand equipment requirements list or from your contact person in the relevant model construction theme area.
The parking tickets are valid for the set-up and exhibition days. Parking permits must be visibly attached to the vehicle. The parking tickets are provided with a BARCODE and must be scanned on entry.
If you wish to park outside the Maimark grounds in the visitor parking lots P6 to P8, you will have to pay a maximum daily parking fee of €6.
Trailer - parking spaces
There are no separate trailer parking passes! If you would like to park a trailer within the exhibition grounds, please order an additional car parking pass with the stand equipment requirements list or from your contact person in the relevant model construction theme area. The parking permits must be visibly attached to the trailer.
If you would like to park your trailer outside the Maimarkt grounds, you can also do so in the visitor parking lots P6 to P8 for a maximum parking fee of €6 per day.
Truck - parking spaces (3,5 - 7,5 to.)
A limited number of truck parking spaces are available within the Maimarkt grounds (access via GATE 2). If you need a truck parking pass, please order it with the booth equipment needs list or from your contact person in the respective modeling theme area.
The parking tickets are valid for the set-up and exhibition days. Parking permits must be visibly attached to the vehicle. The parking tickets are provided with a BARCODE and must be scanned on entry.
Outside the Maimarkt grounds, a further 20 truck parking spaces are available on P4 for a fee of €10 per day. The parking fee for P4 is collected via a parking machine.
Caravan and camper pitches
Motorhomes (no caravans) can be parked on the motorhome site at Hans-Thoma-Straße 3 in Mannheim-Neuostheim (15 pitches) . The following charges apply: parking space €10/24 hours, electricity €1/1 kWh and water €1/100 liters. These fees must be paid in advance at the parking ticket machine. The parking ticket must be visibly displayed behind the windshield. A toilet is available at the technical building. Further information at www.wohnmobil-mannheim.de! The Maimarkt grounds can be reached on foot in approx. 10 minutes.
Alternatively, you can stay overnight with caravans or campers in parking lot P 6 (no height restriction). The maximum parking fee for P 6 is €6 per day. There is no electricity, water and toilet available at the parking lot P 6.

Operation of remote control systems
The operation of remote control systems in the halls is strictly prohibited. Excluding 2.4 GHz systems. In exceptional cases, a transmitter may be put into operation without an RF module, with the written approval of the exhibition management. We ask you to obey this request for safety reasons due to all actions taking place inside and outside the halls.
Fire protection regulations
Easily flammable, burning dripping or toxic gas forming materials such as Styrofoam or similar must not be used.
Decorative materials must be at least B 1, i.e. flame retardant, according to DIN 4102. The use of combustible decorative materials is permitted only if either.
- a test certificate for B1 approval is available
- the material has been impregnated with an approved flame retardant
- the harmlessness can be determined in a fire test
If you do not observe this, the decorative material must be removed. Confirmation of flame resistance or of impregnation carried out in accordance with regulations can be requested from the Friedrichshafen Building Regulations Office.
Gas cylinders, propane (butane) cylinders
Gas bottles and propane (butane) bottles are generally prohibited. An exception permit must be applied for in writing to Messe Sinsheim GmbH in good time!
Brochure distribution
Distribution of printed matter of any kind outside your stand and also in the parking areas is not permitted. We ask you to take this into account!
