IG Micromodel Friends South Rhine-Main

Visitors to the stand of IG Mikromodellbaufreunde Süd Rhein-Main will be able to experience the fascination of functional model building on a small scale.

In 1:87 scale, dredging, transporting and loading is carried out. In a matching landscape, almost everything rolls by, from passenger cars to heavy transport, which can also be found on the streets in front of the exhibition halls.

One of the many highlights is the functioning gravel plant and its screening plant. There, functional construction site vehicles, including excavators and wheel loaders, are used to load the trucks with gravel, which is then transported to various construction sites.

The models are based on “H0 cars” as known from model railroads. These models are not only made to run by the colleagues of the IG Mikromodellbaufreunde Süd Rhein-Main, but also equipped with numerous special functions. Thanks to this scale, the landscapes can also be taken from the model railroad and the models run in an attractive environment.
